As Managing Partner of the firm, Grant Hartvigson dedicates his expertise to helping clients achieve financial independence. A veteran financial professional of over 20 years, he has amassed extensive experience working for the industry’s leading firms. In 2002, he founded Rainier Financial Group, Inc. to further his focus on fostering intimate client relationships, delivering comprehensive financial advice, and providing a truly personalized planning experience. 

A longtime CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional, Grant also holds his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation. While he specializes in crafting investment strategies, he thrives in the fields of retirement distribution planning, estate planning, wealth preservation and tax-efficient retirement income strategies. 

Actively involved in the financial world, Grant is a member of the Puget Sound Business Journal’s prestigious “40 Under 40,” where he has been recognized as a dynamic leader based on his entrepreneurial spirit and contribution to the region through his business and community involvement in 2011. In addition to publishing articles in national financial service publications, he has also been named a Five Star Wealth Advisor* four years (2012, 2015, 2017 and 2018). The Five Star Award is based on 10 objective criteria associated with providing quality services to clients such as credentials, experience, and assets under management among other factors. 

Outside of the office, Grant looks forward to spending time with his wife, Julia, and their daughters, Sedona and Hampton.

Been terminated from a financial services firm within the past 11 years; F. Been convicted of a felony); 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5. Accepting new clients. Evaluation criteria – considered: 6. One-year client retention rate; 7. Five-year client retention rate; 8. Non-institutional discretionary and/or non-discretionary client assets administered; 9. Number of client households served; 10. Education and professional designations. Wealth managers do not pay a fee to be considered or placed on the final list of Five Star Wealth Managers. Award does not evaluate quality of services provided to clients. Once awarded, wealth managers may purchase additional profile ad space or promotional products.
