Our Process

We approach each new engagement with a consultative process. This allows us to have an open dialogue in which we learn about every client’s values and goals while working with them to tailor a plan to help pursue them. By adhering to our five-step streamlined process, we strive to lay the foundation for a dynamic financial partnership.

The Discovery Meeting
During our initial meeting, we determine what is important to you about money as well as what keeps you up at night. Outlining what is important to you as an investor is the key initial component to establishing an Adviser-Client relationship. From there, we discuss your personal and financial goals in greater depth and gather the information necessary to evaluate your current situation prior to our next meeting.

As a fiduciary wealth manager, we understand that our process may not be the best solution for every investor. Because of this, we will not enter into a relationship unless we feel we can provide significant value to our clients. If that is not the case, we are willing to act as a sounding board to help you make the decisions that are best for you.

The Investment Plan Meeting
At this meeting, we present your investment plan, which forms the foundation for all our work together. It includes an analysis of your current situation, a description of your financial goals, and our recommendations for working towards those goals.

Both you and Rainier Financial Group will have follow-up responsibilities in order to implement the plan. Defining these responsibilities and setting a timeline for completion is important in achieving your goals.

Mutual Commitment Meeting
We are ready to make a mutual decision about whether our firm can add substantial value. Should we choose to work together, we commit to each other to work toward pursuing everything that is important to you.

Follow Up Meeting
We meet to review which responsibilities have been implemented and which remain to be completed. We address any concerns, organize all the paperwork, and frame the short-term progress with a long- term perspective.

Regular Progress Meeting
The purpose of these meetings is to make sure you remain on track as we work toward achieving all that is important to you. We implement regular progress meetings to accomplish the following:

  • To provide us an opportunity to review any major changes in your personal, professional or
    financial life
  • To review your investment performance relative to realizing your financial goals
  • To discuss and prioritize the action items within your Advanced Plan
